The assistant finds the station, reads the latest measurement or forecast and links back to the station’s page on arso.lol with charts and the full forecast.

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the server URL below and connect — no sign-in needed.

ChatGPT

Settings → Security and login → turn on Developer mode, then Plugins → + → Create app → Create MCP App with the server URL below and “No Auth”, and mention @arso in a chat.

This is a standard remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP), so any MCP-capable client can use it.

Tools

All tools are read-only and public — nothing is written, no login is involved.

• find_stations — find ARSO stations by name (diacritics optional), by region, or nearest to a latitude/longitude. Each station comes with its region, whether it measures live, its latest temperature and its arso.lol link.
• get_current_weather — the latest temperature, feels-like, wind, humidity, precipitation and condition at one station, with the measurement time, plus sunrise, sunset and the rain outlook for the next 24 hours.
• get_forecast — the hourly forecast for up to 72 hours and the daily outlook (high, low, condition, precipitation) for up to 11 days.
• slovenia_weather_overview — current weather at many stations at once, ranked warmest, coldest or windiest, optionally for one region or only where it is raining.

Good to know

• Covers Slovenia only: 146 ARSO stations, from the coast to mountain summits.
• Weather conditions are ARSO’s Slovenian descriptions; the assistant translates them.
• Some stations measure only once a day — for them, current values come from ARSO’s forecast for the hour, and the answer says so.
• arso.lol is independent and not affiliated with the Slovenian Environment Agency (ARSO). For official forecasts and weather warnings see meteo.arso.gov.si.

Privacy

The connector only receives what the assistant sends for a lookup (a place or station name, a region, or coordinates if you share your location) — never your chat, name or account. Nothing is kept beyond routine server logs, which are deleted within about two months. Details: privacy policy.
